Linda (Eschner) Bretz became a fan of the German Christmas Markets after taking riverboat cruises to Germany's Danube and Rhine Rivers to visit the Christkindlmarkts. Bringing this unique (well - unique to New England!!!) market concept to her own home town of Nashua, New Hampshire, has been her dream for years. Linda received her B.S. in Management and Psychology at U Mass after graduating from Winchester High (MA). After spending her spare time volunteering for numerous community activities while working full time in Boston as a senior business analysis at a large insurance company (and bringing up two of her own children and several foster children), Linda is now focusing on making that dream a reality through NH Christmas Markets, LLC (organized - July, 2010).
A few of Linda's more recent Community Service endeavors include:
Trustee and Chair Of Communication and Technology Committees, Main Street United Methodist Church
18 years on Nashua's Conservation Commission (most recently as Chair) (retired - 2007)
Girl Scout Leader (many years)
heading up an initiative to prevent Child Abuse through the Safe Child Program, both in Nashua and Dorchester, MA
was a Big Sister in Boston's P.A.I.R. program
former Nashua Garden Club member (is also a Master Gardener)
